Tangshan Sanyou Silicon Industry Major Hazardous Source Intelligent Robot Inspection System Construction Project
Tangshan Sanyou Silicon Industry is an enterprise mainly engaged in chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing. Among them, the chloromethane workshop belongs to the major hazard area. The distribution of pipelines and tanks on site is complex, and the working environment contains flammable, explosive, toxic and harmful gases, which belong to the major danger area. Manual inspection is time-consuming and laborious, and there are certain operational risks.
A T9-W explosion-proof wheeled inspection robot was deployed to cover 5 chloromethane spherical storage tanks and 6 methanol cylindrical storage tanks in the chloromethane workshop to detect tank temperature, leakage at tanks, pipelines and valves, identify abnormal behavior of personnel in the area, and upload the detection data synchronically and automatically to the system platform.
Compared with manual inspection, the application of robots improves the quality and solves the drawbacks of human operation and maintenance in traditional major danger areas. The intelligent inspection robot system monitors the site environment and takes care of the equipment status periodically, which greatly reduces the frequency of operation and maintenance personnel going to the site and reduces the operation risk of personnel.
