Shandong Rizhao Port Ore pipe belt conveyor intelligent inspection project
Shandong Rizhao Port has the largest comprehensive port ore transportation system in Asia, including 6 transfer stations with a total length of approximately 8.6 kilometers. Rizhao Port Co., Ltd. has invested a large amount of manpower to carry out daily manual inspections of belt conveyor corridors, transfer stations, and other places, which require at least 3 hours each time.
Two sets of T3-S rail mounted lifting arm robots were installed and applied to the 2.4-kilometer belt conveyor corridor, achieving full coverage, all-weather, unmanned inspection of the pipe conveyor. Through functions such as belt crack recognition, roller abnormality recognition, and conveyor noise diagnosis, the safety and equipment reliability of the conveyor system were greatly improved.
We have established a full process workflow system for intelligent inspection and operation of the transportation system in Rizhao Port area, including information-based data collection, visualization of equipment status presentation, and digital analysis and decision-making. Significantly reduce the labor intensity of operation and maintenance personnel, release human resources, and improve work efficiency and safety index.
